Who killed Charlene Orsulak?

In January 1986, 16-year-old Charlene "Cha Cha" Orsulak moved from her parent?s residence just outside of Winnipeg to her sister's residence in Winnipeg. Charlene stayed with her sister for a short period of time then stayed with various friends for several weeks.

Charlene was last seen leaving her apartment on January 13, 1987. A witness reported that on the night of her disappearance Charlene was seen getting into a vehicle.

Sixteen months later, Charlene's remains were located in an isolated area north of Winnipeg near the community of Matlock, Manitoba.

Charlene was 5'6" and weighed approximately 116 lbs. She had a fair complexion, green eyes, and reddish brown hair that was dyed black at the time of her disappearance.

Project Devote, the joint task force with the Winnipeg Police Service and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police that focuses on missing and murdered exploited persons' investigations, took over the Charlene Orsulak investigation in 2012.
